Why Do Getbreeze.com & Trysilk.com Opens the Same Website?

Trysilk.com is another website that also redirects you to luminesscosmetics.com same as Getbreeze.com. Luminess runs fake campaigns like that and scams people. The quality of the products they deliver is unknown and most of them don’t get their parcel they have paid for it. They run fake ads and buy domains like that and redirect innocent people to the main website and then scam them. Explore More: Seint Makeup Review

Business Profile on bbb.org

The Luminess cosmetics profile on the better business bureau is still showing the trysilk.com domain which is very much questionable. BBb.org is a big and legit platform and still, they are scamming people.

  1. I had watched the GetBreeze commercials so many times, I finally talked myself into trying to find the TOTAL price. I was unable to find it anywhere online until I found this site. THANKS for all the posts here regarding their outrageous business tactics, scams and lack of follow-up with unhappy purchasers, I won’t be ordering. No way do I want such an unscrupulous company having my banking info. Sooo, I am still in search of good facial products for my 70 yr old, extremely dry skin, foundation and whatever else. I’ve never worn a lot of make up but I’m looking ‘washed out’ and want to fix that if possible. I’ve watched tutorials on facebook but I really don’t even know where to begin. they use primers, color correctors, lots of white stuff under the eyes and lots more products. I know nothing about all that and I don’t want to waste a bunch of money on things I won’t even use or need. Anyone have any ideas for me? I certainly need some help and will greatly appreciate some advice. Thank you

    1. Hello, yes, I’m 70, and I’ve been using L’Oreal Visible Lift foundation for many years now. It has very much pigment in it, thus very good coverage and I can wear it all day without feeling it on my face. I don’t use anything else to even out my skin, but perhaps I may use a light blush in the future. I prefer not to use makeup at all, but I’ve inherited my Grandma’s ruddy skintone. I’m very happy with the Visible Lift. If you have a foundation colour that you’ve used that you like, take the container with you to compare with the Visible Lift. Hope you find it as satisfactory as I have.

    2. I’m a 67 yr. old. Based on your info. you provided, I’d say you need a Vitamin C skincare system to exfoliate and bring the glow and hydration back. Try Signature Club A @ HSN.com. I’ve used this brand yrs now, it’s affordable and works! I’ve used Bare Minerals and Jerome Alexander’s, Magic Minerals. Bare Minerals much more expensive and Jerome Alexander’s comparable (neither cover well with one coat, so need a concealer if you need coverage.) I got Alexander’s, in a nice compact, at Walgreen’s @ $19.99, which includes foundation, brush & sponge and mascara. Use sponge for concealing. Vitamin C will bring your glow back; and if you need color, try a bronzer and definitely a little blush too if you are washed out. Finish with a loose setting mineral powder. Tap off excess first as it will tone down, look more natural and set make-up for day.

  2. After reading ALL this bad publicity, I will just stay with my “Magic Minerals Airbrush Foundation” products by Jerome Alexander.” You can walk right into Walgreens and buy it or you can get on Amazon. I use the deluxe set. You just spray on the brush and it all goes on beautifully and gives you a beautiful finish base on your face. I wash my brush after l use the system every time to keep everything fresh and clean. I have had no problems. I’m 60 years old and people think l’m 40-45. Good luck everyone. 😉

  3. Thank you for sharing. It sucks when stuff like this happens. I hope you find a way to get your money back

  4. Luminess has been around a long time. I don’t see anything scammy about this. It says right on their website that the Breeze is their new airbrush system. I used to work in a call center. The redirect to luminess is common and perfectly legit. They are also up front about the cost. After the initial trial period for 19.99 there are four more payments of 39.99. This product has been featured in several well known publications. They also don’t cherry pick the testimonials which is unusual for infomercial products. You can sort them and see all the one star reviews. What I did notice is the article on this page filled with grammatical errors. It’s a shame so many people posting here are duped by one article. The breeze is the name of their new airbrush system therefore they created a new domain for it which redirects people to the main website. What I did find from searching consumer reviews is the unit breaks easily and very hard to clean. It also uses a lot of product to produce the results seen on tv. Don’t scare people by making short sighted accusations.

  5. So none of the comments here are really reviews. I want to read real reviews and get real info not speculation about this product. I watched YouTube videos on the product’s use and they were glowing reviews on how well the product works. That is what I’m looking for. We can all speculate that it is a scam, but not one review on here really explains the scam. Hidden cost I get it, but no one here had solid facts. As far as I could glean, it was a lot of ppl saying they will not be ordering after reading the reviews, which there were none, 0 reviews on the product itself. Not saying I’m still going to order it, just saying I’m going to be doing more research.

    1. Bought this product in September. They have taken $526 out of my account without my authorzation. Now I’m having to put a fraud claim in to my card company because they refuse to reimburse me.

      1. That’s ALL I needed to know!
I’m sorry this has happened to you and THANK YOU for telling us.

      2. I had been wanting to buy this product so thanks Dena for enlightening me on their business practices. I have the early one they first came out with, but the stylus gets clogged and it does not work as well as the Breeze they are advertising now.

    2. I researched years ago because their infomercial seemed to good to be true. I decided not to spend my hard earned money. Now tonight I saw the getbreeze infomercial and it showed them linked luminous. No thank you

  6. Lane,
If you have scars, or something, I tried the Milani brand of foundation. It covers, quite well, easy to remove with cleanser; however, kinda leaves a stain on the rag…you’ll need to wash the rag often.
Thanks for the reviews all. I’m kinda like y’all…was thinking about it, but now, NO WAY!!!
THANKS (this website) for saving us ALL!!!

  7. Why isn’t the total price on your ad for this product. All you say is $14.95, so what’s the balance? Other items sold from t.v. ads has how many payments and what they are.

  8. I rather keep doing my regular ritual, I don’t want to put on a mask and then have my man run away

  9. I am so glad I read these reviews before ordering. I am not going to fall for this thanks to all of you who took the time to share.

  10. I had bought the older Luminess system years ago, I got an email that said it had been delivered, not to my address it wasn’t. There was a photo of the package in front of a door, however it was not my door, as the photo showed a blue door and mine was charcoal. I told them I was going to call a lawyer. I had to fight long and hard to get my money refunded, but it finally got done. I cannot believe there is nothing that can be done to stop this CRAP. It makes me so angry that companies can continue to do this to people. They Prey on women who want to improve their looks / appearance. As big a scan as hair regrowth products, multibillion dollar industries. I would love to find someone who would just provide a real product, that is not a scam and back up their products. I think we should all file a class action lawsuit against them. I hope KARMA bites them in the ASS.

    1. I agree Linda .. with every click the initial “try” product went from $19.95 to $59.95 with 4 additional charges of $59.99 plus processing fee plus taxes ea. time, plus “automatic” charges ea. month 4 additional products .. Cripes, at the rate they were going the cost of this would be upwards $400-$500 and additional new charges … No thanks.. Why can’t they just honor their ad for $19.95 plus shipping, then if we want 2 keep the product charge the balance without all the additions every month.. And based on how you say it took forever 2 get a refund.. I won’t be buying from them.. I want to improve my looks, but I don’t want 2 empty my bank to do it… sounds 2me like once they get your credit card, the trouble begins.

      1. I was done the same way. They try to suck your money out of your account little at a time. It all adds up to extra 500 or more. They are not right. I will not do business with them again.I call several times and got Cancelation confirmations and they still took money from my account.

  11. I just was watching the Get Breeze commercial and they showed a senior woman bragging how it smoothed out her wrinkles and made her life so much easier. I’m 72 years old and I still always wear makeup when I go out and I thought that I ought to give Get Breeze a try. I’ve learned the hard way that you should always check the reviews before you order. I’ve been scammed a couple of times. I’m just thankful I read the reviews on this product before ordering! Nope, I’ve decided I look good enough for my husband of 50 years without a product that doesn’t work all that well and scams you out of a lot of money! Thank you so much!!!

    1. And all I can find on a price is $19.95 in home 30 day use. And auto enrollment in make , but doesn’t tell you how much you we’ll be automatically paying if you keep it or how much the Breeze machine is…. I guess if it even shows up.

      1. I called them a couple of years ago, the luminescent people. I found out that if I kept the trual product, there would be 3-installments, and they would be, he said, 3 easy installments of like ~$110 or so and,B I thought OMG, how ridiculous. I just dropped the phone. That’s a no go for me people.

      2. Read the terms of service carefully … there is where the small print with big automatic charges begin.. they are hoping folks don’t read it because probably most would end up not ordering …

        1. I ordered from luminess years ago and stopped the process before the trial was over, but they kept taking money and sending shades I couldn’t use. I would send them back each time asking them to cancel my subscription, but they kept sending stuff and I kept sending them back. They finally stopped, but I still ended up paying them close to 400 dollars and was never able to get my money back

      1. I was thinking about ordering this Breeze also but after reading about 8 reviews , I think I will pass on it too, being beautiful does not have to run me into going for bankruptcy
        Nancy

  12. I was thinking about trying this. After reading these reviews I am not going to try this product. As one of the comments made, if it seems to good to be true!!!

  13. I want to thank each and everyone who has exposed the truth about this product. You all just saved me lots of money it sounds like. I just went thru removal of skin cancer and was looking for some kind of affordable cover up for my scars. My intuition was telling me it was to good to be true. I’ve lost all interest in trying it at all. Thanks again for everyone’s input on reviews.

    1. Thanks so much for Everyones honesty… Hard to believe they would allow such an ad… know ing they rip off so many people…. But thanks To you all… I beleive i SAVED MONEY by not buying it…….. What a Shame…..

    2. Hi I just wanted to let you know that the Elizabeth Grant skin care line is awesome and moderately priced. Elizabeth Grant was a make up artist who sustained scars in WW2. She researched and researched and came up with a product that treated her scars. It could be beneficial in your situation. Not trying to be bossy or rude, I just wanted to left you know about a skin care product that could help.

  14. I just saw this ads this morning here in Canada . I was so tempted to order it . But I thought of checking all the reviews before ordering it . There I have it , all the reviews on this site . I completely changed my mind by ordering the products! Thank you all for sharing your opinions.

  15. So glad I read the reviews. I would die after being billed a large sum of money these people got billed for. Thanks for the tip.

    1. In the times we are living, I check everything on line especially social media. Most of them are cons. I will see if a store that I’m familiar have whatever they are trying to sell.

  16. I appreciate reading all the comments before I purchase this product. I did the Luminess sprayer a few years ago, the old brand, and of course I did not notice to read the fine print, which by the way, isn’t available until after you purchase, then you are hit with a bill after the 30-day trial, If my memory serves me it was a 14-day trial at that time. Even if you cancel, you are still responsible and billed for the full cost of the product. I thought about trying out this one, but my inner thoughts says No Way, same scheme as the old brand. Looks inviting, but what about the after market cost?

  17. I’m so glad that I read this information. I will definitely not be ordering this product. It really fooled me. I am 65 and dont use makeup. This commercial almost had me convinced to order and start wearing it again. What a scam!!

    1. The product itself is probably fine .. its the rip off charges (automatic without consent) that is the scam.. I don’t want folks having the ability to make charges on my credit cards every month without me knowing about it first… it would probably be a real fight getting your money back ..

  18. I would like to thank you for comments. I will not be ordering it. To expensive, and not good reviews. They should not show this on tv anymore. It’s a rip off. It fools women

    1. I agree.
Seeing these commercials makes me want to believe they’re legit but there should be some type of filter the broadcasting stations put their clients through. They shouldn’t allow scam artists into the homes of their viewers like that.

      1. The TV channel doesn’t care if something is legit. They get their money for the commercial spot. If people are gullible enough to believe these types of questionable ads / products then the company doing the advertisement has one.

That’s why it’s a good thing that these types of web pages and forums exist. All it ever requires is research.

And I won’t be considering this product either. I have always questioned from the beginning how the nozzle doesn’t plug up after a while of using and how to keep it clean, yet I haven’t seen any mentioning on what to be aware of and how to handle that from the seller.

If I sell a product, I’d at least tell my customers what to be aware of. Realistically nothing is ever perfect. But…..what do I know about integrity, honesty and trustworthiness anyway, right? Right.

    2. I’m glad I checked reviews prior to ordering. I won’t be getting involved now for sure! During times of such scammers, we only have each other…. The consumers…. To do reviews and make others aware.
In the other hand, just ordered a flat iron. Website was legit, didn’t find even one bad review…. Got it sooooo fast and I’m LOVING IT! Our reviews do matter!
Thank you all very, very much!!

    3. Exactly!! People should think..Why wouldn’t this product be sold in stores & make more money? Because they can’t Scam you on monthly charges!!

  19. WOW !!! Their commercial is on right now, I was really wanting to order 3 sets BUT……after reading these reviews, I changed my mind, I will stick to using my sponge. It covers real grrreat ! Using the sponge its actually better as it blends in to my hair line & also my jaw line. This just looked like this product wld be faster. Thank you for sharing all your reviews so honest,.

  20. This is a bait and switch offer, 19.95 after 30 days it is 4 payments of 39.95 plus 9.00 for a total of 195.80 and the original 19.95 = 215.75 in total. Just another scam aimed at womens insecurities. They deserve to be put out of business.

    1. Glad I read your review before I put any payment info in…I can barely afford the $19.95, which jumped to $24.95 before even thinking about “CHECKOUT” info ..
Ugh, was looking forward to gifting to myself for my 60th birthday

    2. It’s true…….you end up paying more not on a trial basis they get you to try it for only $19.95..,,then the real price comes out???. And very hard to get out of it with them having your bank info!!!!

    1. You can get a refillable credit card and put on only what you want. That’s all they get. If I was gonna do it I would use one of those kind.

  21. Since it’s on a special sale, I thought my sister would like this as a present

So I called and after the recording played eight times, each time saying that I was the next customer in line, I just hung up.

    Is this still in business???

    Tom

      1. I am so sick of all the lying, tricking. taking, conning bullshit that has taken over our world. It’s a shame you can’t even trust anyone anymore. Our doctors, lawyers, counselors that we looked up to at one time there was trust but not today so many people out there today have a plan to scam someone, sell them a fake product, or service not rendered, or make you pay good money for their lie. It’s really sad that even our professionals are playing the scam game. You just don’t want to go thru life not having someone you can trust but look around how can you tell who is true and who is out to get you. This is going to be a very lonely world to come.

        1. I work in law enforcement (going on 17 years now).

Mewsflash. It’s BEEN a lonely world for quite a while for some. Lies, cheating, lousy characteristics. It robs one of the hope in much of anything anymore. Sadly.
