What Makes MileMax the Best

The MileMax Fuel Saver has been a topic of controversy among consumers and experts, mainly because of its grandiose claims of improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. While the device claims to use AI technology to optimize fuel efficiency without compromising on power or performance, there is a lack of evidence to support these claims.

In addition to these claims, the company’s website, has raised several red flags that suggest it could be a potential scam. The site was recently created, and there is no physical address or phone number listed, which are common practices for legitimate companies. The lack of transparency makes it challenging to verify the legitimacy of the company behind the product.

Another reason why the MileMax Fuel Saver is considered a potential scam is due to the numerous negative reviews and customer complaints about the device’s effectiveness. Many customers have reported that they did not see any significant improvements in their fuel efficiency, and some have even reported a decrease in their car’s performance after using the device.

Moreover, some experts have raised concerns about the safety of the device. They argue that the MileMax Fuel Saver may tamper with the engine’s settings and lead to potential safety hazards, which is a significant concern for car owners.

One user tested the device on a 2008 Prius and expected to see a 2mpg loss in fuel efficiency for a 150-mile drive, as the device claims to save up to 35% fuel. However, the user actually experienced a 6mpg loss, even though they didn’t drive up to 150 miles. They also tried using the device on a 2003 Ford Expedition, but the little light kept flashing, suggesting that the device couldn’t communicate with the vehicle.

Another user dissected the device and found that it was just a junk with no connection to the OBD communication. They explained that the major factors that determine fuel consumption, such as vehicle weight, tire size, rolling resistance, friction in moving parts, and the number of moving parts in the driveline, cannot be altered by plug-and-play devices like MileMax Fuel Saver. This user also noted that the device has been recycled many times and is just a reoccurring sham.

Furthermore, the company behind the product has no official page, and the product is not registered on Trust Pilot. While there are some positive reviews on the company’s website, they may not be trustworthy as they could be paid for. Overall, the lack of evidence supporting the claims made by MileMax Fuel Saver and the red flags surrounding the company suggests that it may indeed be a scam.

Does It Work?

The effectiveness of MileMax Fuel Saver is questionable and there is no concrete evidence to support its claims of improving fuel efficiency by up to 35%. Many customers who have used similar devices have reported negative experiences and decreased fuel efficiency.

Additionally, the lack of transparency and support from major automobile manufacturers or regulatory bodies raises concerns about the legitimacy of the product. It is advisable to conduct thorough research before investing in any fuel-saving devices, including MileMax.

Is It Legit?

It appears that the Milemax fuel saver is not a legitimate product. The device does not have any actual connection to the vehicle’s OBD communication and the claims made by the manufacturer about its ability to significantly improve fuel efficiency are not backed by any independent testing or evidence.

In fact, many customers who have purchased similar devices have reported negative experiences, including decreased fuel efficiency and engine problems.

Additionally, there are several critical factors that determine a car’s fuel usage, such as vehicle weight, tire size, rolling resistance, and driveline friction, which cannot be easily altered by a plug-and-play device like the Milemax. Therefore, it is recommended to exercise caution and do thorough research before considering the purchase of any fuel-saving device, including the Milemax

  1. I plugged this milemax into my 2013 Lincoln MKX V6 and laughing at the same time, for the pennies I spent on two of the units. The EPA sets all fuel usage management in the CPU by grouping vehicles by size & engine. My thoughts were to see if there was someone smart enough to get around the security of the CPU and the answer is yes but the the CPU needs to be sent out to reconfigure it. SO YES THIS IS A SCAM, 35% INCREASE NOT A CHANCE. My Scanner is bi-directional meaning it communicates with the vehicle’s CPU. It also updates yearly.
