I love Oomiay rings and have been collecting them since they were called Gemandi. I have over 20 pieces (began collecting 5 years ago). They really have a great marketing technique where they list thr rings as easy more expensive than they should be. Example, my last order consisted of 8 rings and the grand total was 164 dollars. However with the “deals” (they always have deals) I paid 82 dollars. In actuality, this is probably what the rings are truly worth, taking into account the materials etc but it’s worth it to me because they are truly unique and beautiful and if you take very good care of them, they will hold up well. The ones I have from 5 years ago are missing a few tiny crystals but for this type of casual jewelry that’s too be expected.
I have returned something to Oomiay and they lost it. Tracking number shows that it arrived. They are not answering emails anymore and have not refunded me. Will not be purchasing with this shady business again.
I have bought 15 pieces from Oomiay (formerly Gemandi) and every single one of them looks exactly the way they were portrayed on the website. It has been about five years since I bought my first one and 6 months since I bought my most recent one. They are all still stunning pieces and I’ve had zero problems with the silver or gold plating rubbing off or tarnishing. I wear at least one of their rings every single day and if they start looking less shiny or sparkly, I clean them with jewelry cleaner and they return to their original state. I also store them in the little velvet bags they come in between wears.
I don’t have any idea how people can be complaining about the quality of Oomiay’s peices when all 15 of mine look like they did the day I got them in the mail .
