I ordered two pairs of men’s shoes for $99.00 Canadian. When the shoes finally arrived I noticed they were shipped from Markham Ontario. The shoes were low quality, not even close to the advertised description. So I called and got the returns address. It was a city in China. I stupidly followed the return policy details. It cost me $114.00 Canadian to send the shoes back. A month or more passed. I sent an email to GMDJD, asking if they received the shoes. After a day or so the message comes back that the shoes were lost in Chinese customs and the would not be able to retrieve the shoes. I was infuriated with the whole return policy and demanded $213.00. They danced around with more BS during our further communication trades. 5 months after the order was placed they credited about 75% of the purchase price. Stay away from this company – the sell junk and then hose you if you try to return their junk to you
I ordered 2 pair of women’s sandals. It said the one pair was made by Clark’s. I love their sandals! However, it took weeks for the shoes to appear. I thought that I had been scammed. They kept telling me they were on their way. They finally showed up wrapped in a plastic bag then clear tape wrapped around that. When I opened the package, I was greatly disappointed in the quality of the shoes. They were so cheap and the Clark’s were not even close to the Clark’s that I was expecting. They were flimsy and cheaply made for what I paid (close to $40 a pair). Walmart has better quality then this place!!! I contacted them and they told me I could return them – to CHINA to the tune of $125+ in shipping for less than 1 pound!! They fill a shipping container with orders to America and then if you need to return them – it costs you more than what they are even worth!!! I decided to keep them and the very first time I wore the pair they broke!!! I sent them pictures and told them I wanted a full refund for the one pair and they came back with they would credit me $12 of which I could take and have them repaired. That would not even cover the cost of having them repaired, why should I have a brand new pair of shoes repaired? Really??? I feel this is a total scam!!!
I have been tryying to contact GMDJD since I recevied the shoes on June 23, 2022 about returning the shoes. The shoes were way too large for me. I ordered size 11 which is what I am wearing now in another brand, but these shoes are enormous. I need to return but my emails go unanswered. I do not have an address to return them to. None of your web sites have a mailing address and your contact information says that the phone number noted is not being answered due to COVID-19 issues.
I had the exact same thing happen with the size 11 i ordered. Came in more like a 12. their customer service is a joke, offering me $8 credit then a $12 credit after i refused the first. Thankfully i used paypal and they refunded me the entire purchase price almost immediately.
This seems a little fishy.
